Responsible for the ongoing development and governance of TSYSI’s policies, procedures and execution in relation to Operational Risk. Responsible for ensuring compliance with TSYS’ Risk Management Processes as defined for TSYSI’s business model. Providing strategic input into both the creation and maintenance of existing corporate policies to ensure appropriate reflection of TSYSI’s operations is a key feature. Management of all operational and information risks for TSYSI is the key premise of this role. Responsible for Operational Risk and Business Continuity across TSYSI. Work with the dedicated Risk and Compliance, Information Security and Business Continuity teams in the US. Establishing a close working relationship with these areas of expertise will be critical to the role, as will the ability to build relationship with peers within our clients’ organisations.
The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to:
·identifying, assessing and managing operational risks across TSYSI
·delivery of improved risk management and control with particular emphasis on communication/culture/training and support via a structured and auditable process and communication at all relevant levels of the organisation
·co-ordination of BCP deployment, testing and communication
·provision of strategic input into corporate initiatives as appropriate to ensure consistency and improvement of risk management across all platforms and geographies
·the role holder must ensure strategic focus around the direction of all work in line with corporate strategy and the growing demands of both the TSYSI businesses which will include direct engagement with Senior Management within our own and our clients’ organisations as appropriate
