Yasmine - Issue Analyst

I joined TSYS and the Risk Operations team as an Issue Analyst in August 2004 after leaving a company I had been with for three years. I had become very disappointed with the way Managers treated their teams and felt my work wasn't valued.

From day one at TSYS, things couldn't have been more different. Everybody is very friendly and welcoming and I felt like I became part of the team almost immediately. The atmosphere is very work orientated, customer focused and quick moving – there is a definite buzz about the office - which is just what I was looking for having come from a company where I had lost my drive and enthusiasm. I've received formal training, tailored to my specific role as an Issue Analyst (a first for me), team building afternoons, probationary chats with my Manager ensuring I'm heading in the right direction – I finally feel like I'm working for a company that are actually concerned and interested in what I do and the input I make.

Having been in my role for just over 5 months, I am now looking after my own module on a permanent basis. Looking after module-specific Issues, Questions and Projects for all our clients, I am still learning something new every day and the work remains varied and interesting. Hopefully, it won't stop here. There is a general optimism and anticipation for the future of TSYS Europe and I'm pleased to know I'm going to be a part of it.
