Simon - Help Desk Team Leader
I first heard about TSYS Europe in early 2001. I made an application to work for the company and was invited for an interview, shortly after I was offered a position in our York office.
I joined TSYS Europe as an Issue Analyst dealing with incoming issues from our clients. Working as an Issue Analyst enabled me to gain a greater understanding of how our products work and it was a great opportunity to get to know our clients. The role was extremely challenging as there is so much to learn about when you join TSYS, but there is also a great amount of job satisfaction.
I worked as an Issue Analyst for just over a year, then, after a successful application, I became a team leader managing our European Helpdesk.
Our team is often the face of TSYS and the first point of contact for our clients. We all work hard to ensure we provide clients with a service they expect and deserve. The team has many functions from speaking to clients over the telephone right through to offering specialist support on system functionality.
My role is very challenging and certainly varied, no two days are ever the same but it's this that makes the job so enjoyable.
TSYS Europe is growing fast and we work in an ever changing environment. This provides everybody with lots of opportunity to progress and develop in their career should they choose to do so.
